Curriculum

Program Description

Bethany School has the opportunity to hand-select our curriculum to meet the needs of our school. We have primarily chosen curriculum from Christian publishers, like A Beka, to teach our subjects across the curriculum from a Biblical perspective.

In the area of language arts, we augment the A Beka spelling program with the Houghton Mifflin Language Arts curriculum in the lower grades and McDougal Littel on the middle school level.

Our goal with the comprehensive language arts programs is two fold:

Grades K-2 “We are learning to read.”

Grades 3-8 “We are reading to learn.”
